Walk Against Hunger

Young Cafod Leaders’ from St John Fisher and All Saints’ embarked on a joint adventure on Thursday 17 March as they Walked Against Hunger in aid of our Lenten charity CAFOD,

Using the slogan “Let’s give hunger its marching orders,” CAFOD describes the challenge as “a chance for you to transform your life while changing someone else’s”.

The day provided many blessings and graces. The Cafod Young Leaders Walked Against Hunger from All Saints’, Huddersfield to St John Fisher, Dewsbury in good spirits. They shared their thoughts en-route for those around the world without food and creating awareness through our words and actions we can join with others so that everyone can live their lives free from hunger.

Our Young Leaders walked from All Saints’ in Huddersfield to St John Fisher, Dewsbury and celebrated a short Thanks Giving Liturgy in the chapel to close the day.
