Memphis Inspired Clock Designs

Mrs Gavaghan’s Year 9 worked hard on designing and making clocks for a client of their choice using The ‘Memphis’ Design movement as inspiration. The Memphis Design Movement was around in the 1980’s and it injected an element of fun into design, architecture and interiors at that time.. I remember it well!

The Design movement uses shapes and contrasting surface pattern designs and is a really effective inspiration for fun ideas and products.

After working really hard, the results showed and even completed on-time!
